Without a key the agent creates a free sandbox key by itself. Sandbox posts are simulated and return a public preview link showing how the post would look on Instagram.

The response includes the preview link and the next step for the agent. Errors come with a fix field in English and Spanish.

Instagram requirements

Professional account (Business or Creator).
An image or a video is required.
Up to 2,200 characters of text.

Can I post Reels?

Yes. Send a video in media and it is published as a Reel.

Can I schedule posts on Instagram?

Yes. Send scheduled_at as an ISO 8601 date; in the MCP server, use the programar_para argument.

Do I need a Meta developer app?

No. You don't create anything in Meta for Developers or go through App Review. You do need a professional Instagram account.
